Some news about the Family Visitor Centre at HMP Altcourse

We’re sad to let you know that today our contract to provide the Visitor Centre at HMP Altcourse in Liverpool has come to an end. The centre will be taken over by a new provider, Social Interest Group, and our team will be moving across to work with them.

We’ll continue working closely with families who are affected by imprisonment through our Prisoners’ Families service, where we support children and families who have a family member in prison.

Today we’d like to say a huge thank you to our team at Altcourse. They’ve worked so incredibly hard over the years to support families who are visiting a loved one in prison – a time that can bring lots of mixed emotions for many people. They are total gems, and we know they’ll continue doing the most amazing job with the Social Interest Group.
