Not just a job: we're recruiting Shared Lives carers now
Shared Lives is a bit like fostering, but it's for adults who need some support to live as independently as possible. When you support someone as a Shared Lives carer, you can work your role around family life, school runs, and even another job.
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for PSS. The staff here just get it. They have seen me at my worst, but they never judge me, they accept me for who I am. I had nothing and they went above and beyond, helping me build my life back up from scratch.
Jo, supported by Women's Turnaround.
Work at PSS
Come and join our happy team! Check out our latest jobs and volunteering opportunities.
PSS is the best place I've ever worked, by far. The people here are amazing. Everyone's so warm, friendly and generally lovely. No-matter what's been going on in my life over the years, I've had nothing but support. I'm trusted to do my job, and I'm respected for who I am and what I bring. We work really hard, but I laugh every single day.
