Meet the Shared Lives ambassadors

Meet the Shared Lives ambassadors

Hope, Lee and Mark, are the Shared Lives ambassadors for PSS. Since starting in their roles they’ve been busy making lots of plans to give our Shared Voices group a bit of a shake-up. Our three ace ambassadors have been looking at how they can make it the best group ever!

What is a Shared Voices meeting?

The Shared Voices group is a place for our ambassadors to build on community and encourage people supported by Shared Lives to get involved. This will include things like supporting one another to advocate for themselves, encouraging each other to speak up when they need to and building connections with other people supported by Shared Lives. The group will also focus on socialising and making it a fun and safe space for people to be.

What will happen at the meeting?

The first ambassador-led Shared Voices meet-up will be on Friday, the 16th of June, from 1pm until 3pm in our head office, Eleanor Rathbone House, Liverpool. This session will be a drop-in session, so you can just turn up and grab a brew (we’ll have tea and coffee available).

With this being the first session, this will be the perfect opportunity for people to come and have a chat and share ideas about what they’d like to take from the group. There will also be an anonymous suggestion box (for people who don’t feel comfortable sharing) and a benefits advice webinar at 2pm.
