Shoebox of Love appeal at Eleanor Rathbone House

And that’s a wrap for our Shoebox of Love appeal at our HQ in Liverpool!

We’d like to say a massive well done to all the people from our Making Days service who organised the Shoebox of Love appeal at Eleanor Rathbone House. They sorted the donations and packed all the individual gift bags ready for collection.

We’re blown away by the kindness and generosity of the people in our Making Days service for making this happen. Sarah, who arranges the collections for the appeal, came to ERH yesterday and was amazed at all the hard work everyone had put in.

Sarah said she will never forget the experience of coming to meet people from our service and said that it’s experiences like this that make her want to carry on doing the shoebox of love appeal.

Ryan made a speech during the collection that talked about why he was inspired to do the collection and what it meant to him – it was an emotional moment for everyone there.

Thanks to everyone in Making Days, vulnerable people across Merseyside will have much-needed winter items this December.

Great work, everyone!
