Georgia Marriott Smith

Georgia is a PhD student and active research assistant at Liverpool John Moore’s University, with a background in Criminal Justice Research. She is passionate about making sure vulnerable populations have their voices heard through both research and policy. Her PhD is focused on people in prison and their families’ experiences of COVID-19 in relation to public health and personal wellbeing. She is committed to change and making sure her works reflects this. 

Georgia is passionate about making society a better place for everyone and is keen to do this through her role as PSS trustee. Georgia enjoys spending time with friends and family, and going to concerts when she can.
