Meet Maria

Hiya, I’m Maria. I’ve worked with PSS for over 20 years on the finance team. My current role as head of finance involves supporting our director of finance and people to make sure we have solid financial management and control and that people across the organisation get good financial services. My main focus is supporting and encouraging the team’s development.  I’m always keen for myself and the team to be really approachable in supporting the services to deliver the best service they can. 

How I could support you 

My approaching to supporting is initially by listening to fully understand what the person is trying to achieve, then talking about what they have already tried and figuring out what options they have with them. I have supported with time management and being more confident in difficult situations. The most important thing for me is that coachees have enjoyed their sessions and come up with their own solutions.  

The sessions are very informal and relaxed and always at a time that works best for the coachee to ensure they get the most out of it. On the first session I always take the time to get to know the person and help them to get to know me. It’s really important to have a connection with the person you are coaching.
