PSS Women’s Turnaround is an innovative service across Merseyside (except Wirral) for women offenders. We offer a safe ‘women only’ environment and will involve partnership working with police, agencies both within the criminal justice system and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity to set up a new pilot aimed at delivering structured and targeted individual support to women. The aim of the intervention is to address and reduce the offending behaviour and break the pattern of offending.
Applicants must have a strong commitment to the aims of the project, i.e. to tackle the factors that lead to offending behaviour and support choices that improve women’s life chances
The successful applicant must have experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs and experience of providing structured individual support and a sound awareness of the issues affecting women with multiple and complex needs.
