Women’s turnaround is a service just for women and offers individual and group work to support adult female offenders from Liverpool, Sefton Knowsley and St Helens
Our team works with lots of different agencies, such as drug and alcohol agencies, local training and employment agencies, mental health services and criminal justice services.

What’s our aim?
We are here to help reduce the number of women in prison who do not pose a risk to the public. We want to reduce offending and re-offending and increase the number of women diverted from prosecution. We also want to increase the number of women accessing and being successful in engaging with community provision. We also aim to reduce the number of family breakdowns and improve your health and well-being. We do all this to help not just you, but to support your wider family, helping them to reach the services they need.
What do we do?
We support women offenders, helping you to find the services you need, improve your well-being and make other life changes to make your future a positive one.
Our team are very experienced in working with women who have practical, personal, and emotional difficulties, so whatever your needs we can help.
We offer individual support for all sorts of things including legal advice, advocacy, housing, benefit and debt management, employment, education and training, health and well-being support drug and alcohol abuse, domestic abuse and counselling. We also run a number of group sessions which focus on thinking positively, parenting ,domestic abuse ,understanding your emotions
Our activities take place at our base at the Women’s Turnaround Centre ,Eleanor Rathbone House, Liverpool and in outreach venues.

We offer individual support with all sorts of practical things including legal advice, advocacy, housing, benefit and debt management, employment, education and training, , health and well-being support and parenting.
Counselling and emotional support
Our aim is to build your confidence as much as possible, helping you to believe in yourself and break down the barriers you may be up against. We’ll help you to get your life back on track by making better choices for you and your family. To do this, we offer counselling sessions with our professional counsellor.
